SOS is also known as Save Our Seas, and it is a club that raises awareness about our oceans and what is happening in our world. We raise money and donate to charity to help the oceans. We also host beach cleanups near popular and polluted beaches in Kobe. SOS also raises awareness through the use of social media and also raises money through the use of entertainment. Save Our Seas has also hosted activities to raise awareness and money while making people smile.
Who started SOS
There were 2 leaders and founders of this club Hriday and Rishi. They are both 12th-grade students. Save Our Seas started around 3 years ago in 2022. The reason behind SOS being created is due to a moment in the 2 leaders' lives. They say that when they were scuba diving they saw a lot of plastic around where they were, and that deeply affected their thoughts about the seas. That is why they created SOS. The leader now is called Diyan, and he is an 11th-grade student at Canian Academy.
Goals
SOS is a club whos main goal is to raise awareness and money to save the seas and environment. SOS wants to raise and donate money to charities which will help save the oceans. In order to reach our goal we host beach clean ups as well.
